He was predeceased by: his father Joseph F. Haughwout; his wife Suzanne Haughwout; and his sister Ruth Shriver. He is survived by: his mother Caroline Haughwout; his brother Joseph C. Haughwout; his stepdaughter Barbara Hodges; and his stepgrandsons, Phillip and Timothy Hodges.
