It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Charles Thatcher of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away, on January 25, 2021. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Donaldson Thatcher; his sons, Ronald and David of Hampton; and his sister-in-law Arlene Pearson of Warwick, RI. He is also survived by niece and nephews.

The church has limited seating due to Covid-19 protocol, and restrictions are being followed with masks and social distancing required. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be private graveside services at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Northside Christian Church at 1300 George Washington Highway, Yorktown, VA 23693.
