It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty L Gretten of Hampton, Virginia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Jones and Louise Grady; her son John Gretten; her grandson Cody Winkler; and her pet Choco Taco.

She is survived by: her siblings, Carole Sheline and Delan "Deno" Jones (Pam); her children, Carole Knopp (David), Deborah Adams (Mark) and David Gretten (Melissa); her grandchildren, Joshua Winkler (Aleksandra), Cameron Winkler, Danielle Gretten (Jacob Genovese), Tony Gretten, Amanda "Shea" Johnson (Jordan), Isaac Wheeler, Jacob Wheeler, Matthew Wheeler, Grace Sandhofer-Adams and Maddie Adams; and her great grandchildren, Mace Winkler, Emily Winkler, Luna Genovese, Nick Winkler, Myah Yost, Stoney Shea Johnson, Sammy Winkler and Charlotte Winkler.
