We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2022, at the age of 95, Betty Jo Hall-Jones of Hampton, Virginia, born in Arbovale, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Martha Agnes Faulknier and Charles Cleveland Riley of Arbovale, WV.; her former husband Frederick Hall; her grandson Caley Bertl of Houston, TX; and her siblings, Charles Cleveland Riley, Jr. (Hagerstown, MD), Mary Helen Riley Shears and Amy Riley Grove.
She is survived by: her friends, Louise Sheckler and Susie Slavins; her daughter Betty; her son-in-law Clyde Cottrill; her friend Betty Z; her husband Jerold Jones (Jake); her children, Fredericka Cottrill (Clyde), Douglas D. Hall (Kim) and Brenda L. Kresse (John Michael); her grandchildren, John Paul Kresse (Ashlee), Jared Frederick Kresse, Noah Michael Kresse and Emma L. Kresse Copeland (David); her great grandchild B. H. Copeland of Houston, TX; her nephew Charles Riley (Jeanie) of Hagerstown, MD.; her cousin Kenneth Faulknier; and also, Debora, Stephen Spivey, S. J. Spivey (Katie) and Jeremy Spivey (Lacey).
