It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty A. Toomey (Hampton, Virginia), who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Barker and Ruby Barker; her grandson Edward "EJ" Downing III; her sister Susan Montefusco; her niece PJ Williams; her son-in-law Edward Downing Jr.; her children, Tanya Downing-Austin (Michael Austin) and Danny Rice (Anna Lisa); her granddaughters, Brittany, Michelle Downing, Kyilee, Isabella and Aurora Austin; her sister Helen Baker; her nephew Eddie Barker (Emily); and her nieces, Tina Ashley (Roger), Allison Tinker (Jim) and Tammy Meyer.
