We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2023, at the age of 73, Bessie Sherman (Hampton, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Nasahenton Sanders. She is survived by: her son Nathaniel Sherman of Augusta, GA; her brothers, Henry Sherman and Anthony Sherman (Yvonne); her grandchildren, Aurielle Allen of Hampton, VA and Marquis G. N. Sanders of Newport News, VA; her great grandchildren, Achazia Allen, Russell Allen Jr., Malaya Sanders and Roux Mae Allen; and her nieces, Sharon Sherman, Pamela Sherman and Nicole Sherman. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and countless friends.
