He is survived by: his wife Dreama Shields; his daughter Kristie Shields of Newport News; his stepdaughter Kara Maples (Kevin) of Hampton; his grandchildren, Sean Shields, Cody Shields, Anna Shields, Jonathan Shields, Krystena Vigeant and Melissa Maples; his great grandchild Isla Marie Shields; and his siblings, Jeffrey Shields (Christine) of Gloucester, Carolyn Barber of Orange Park, FL and Deborah Powell of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
