She was predeceased by: her parents, Gwaltney D. Taliafero and Lucille Watkins Taliafero; her husband Howard Foster, Sr.; her children, Larry Foster, Ronald Foster, Connie Foster and Shirley Northcutt; her grandsons, Lee Northcutt, Craig Northcutt, Santonio Garrett and Dequan Studwell; and her siblings, Maggie Banfield, Rose Webster, Ann Rae Taliafero, James Taliafero and Lawrence Watkins.
She is survived by: her children, Howard (Diane), Kelvin, Kim (Barbara), Barry, Dale (Trina), Eric (Tiffany), Donna (Aubrey) and Sherri (Albert); and her brother Gwaltney Taliafero, Jr.. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, a large circle of extended family, her church family, and lifelong friends.
