He was predeceased by: his mother Esther L. Gaynor; and his grandparents, William "Dick" Fields, Roxanna B. Fields, George W. Gaynor and Nancy L. Gaynor.

He is survived by: his father George E. Gaynor; his siblings, Adrian D. Gaynor, Tommye'Gaynor-Williams (late Reginald) and Marita Beckles; his goddaughters, Sierra and Shiann Fuentes; his nieces, Shaughanassee Williams Vines (Terry) and Ashleigh Gaynor Anderson (DeWayne); his great-nieces, Isabella Jade and Rain Anderson; and his great-nephew Micah Vines. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
