He is survived by: his wife Mae Belle Harris; his daughters, Carol B. Fuller, Brenda J. Battle, Sheila P. Harris, Deborah Harris-William, Kitty L. Banks (Arnold) and Angela D. McCoy; his goddaughter Sandra Booker; and his brother John Harris of Smithfield. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
