He was predeceased by: his parents, Leora Holley and Milton Giles Sr.; and his siblings, Linwood, Farlando Giles, Larry Hunter (Diane) and Vera Harrison.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Perry; his children, Kimberly Whitaker, Chanita Medley, Antoine Whitaker, Tawan Thomas, George (Arvette) and Robert Perry; his siblings, Milton Giles, Jr., Courtney Giles, Byron Giles, Thelma Giles, Regina White (Anthony), Deora Giles, Kishla Giles and Sharon Eaton (Michael); his grandchildren, Juwan, Jalyn, Gabriel, Chamare, Omare, Jacob, Taliya, Taraji, Tawan and George, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Amari and Jocelyn. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
