She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn W. Perkins and Reba M. Perkins; and her brother-in-law Mike Fortner. She is survived by: her husband Jerome Clair Casey; her children, Chan Edward Casey (Steven) of New York, NY, Brett Thomas Casey (Shannon) of Matthews, NC and Carrie Casey Medeiros (Kevin) of Clayton, NC; her grandchildren, Emery, Kylie Casey, Colin and Lila Medeiros; and her sister Sandra Fortner of Roanoke, VA..
