She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Verwey and Anna Marie Wolfe Skipper; her husband Luther Myron Powers; and her children, Heidi Hott and David Hott.
She is survived by: her sons, Clifton Hott (Laurie) of Hamilton, VA and Benjamin Hott (Dana) of Wilmington, NC; and her grandchildren, David Hott, Jesse Hott, Lyndon Hott, Samantha Wilson, Ryan Finks, Josh Hott, Jessica Hott, Jacob Hott, Jordan Hott, Jennifer Hott and Armeda Boswell. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
