He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Brenda Ashby-Berry, Gilbert Scott Ashby, Jr. and Linda Lou Ashby; his grandchildren, Justin Michael Fleming, Lauren Michelle Fleming, Katherine Joy Ashby, Daniel Scott Ashby and Levi James Ashby Moosha; and his great grandchild Zander Scott Ashby.
