We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2022, at the age of 83, Maxwell Elmo Marshall Sr. of Hallwood, Virginia, born in Saxis, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Marshall and Anna Linton Marshall Godwin; and his daughter Grace Vera West. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Mason Marshall; his son Maxwell Elmo Marshall, Jr. (Amy) of Hallwood; his sister Dale Bonawell of Saxis; his grandchildren, Renee Rantz (Daniel), Mason Marshall of Chincoteague and Alexis Marshall of Chincoteague; his great grandchild Grace of Indiana; and his nephew Pete Bonawell (Missy Lewis) of Saxis.
