She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Hodges, Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Morgan; and her siblings, Carolyn Hodges, Fran Wesley Smith and James E. Hodges, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband George Barnes Linvill; her daughters, Marie Thornton Rodgers (Sonny) of Chincoteague and Debbie Thornton Baylis (Kevin) of Onley; her grandchildren, Christina Eulo Gardner (Neil), Nathan Eulo, Jason Thomas Hickman, Zachary William Baylis and Garrett Morgan Baylis; her great grandchild Gavin Neil Gardner; and her siblings, Ruth Smith-Fraser, Lieu Lewis, Vada Morgan Hayes, Patti West and Joseph Milton Hodges. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
