With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Maddox of Hallwood, Virginia, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Calvin Maddox; her father John Roger Groton; her son William Howard "Bill" Maddox (Amy); and her sisters, Sadie G. Gladding and Maude Groton.
She is survived by: her sons, James Roger Maddox (Sandy), George Calvin Maddox (Billye Jean "BJ) and John Reed "Johnny" Maddox (Faith) of Hallwood; her grandchildren, Stacy Reade Maddox (Stacey Lynn), Holly Guy, Christina Elizabeth Theirfeldt (Doug), William Daniel Maddox, Samantha Pioli (Anthony), Alicia Niblett (Jeff), John Roger Maddox and Kathryn Elizabeth Isdell (Clif); her great grandchildren, Brandon, Brooklynn, Sean, Morgan, Jack, Lenee, Liam, Bianca, Avery, Michelle, Hailey and Kalli; and her great great grandchildren, Zayne, Sebastian, Aiden and Adahli.
