He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lacy Martin and Mattie Powell Martin; and his siblings, David Martin, Chris Martin, Josephine Wooldridge, Jimmy Martin, Ricky Martin and Dorothy Mae Martin.
He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Dean Martin; his sisters, Joyce M. Gutherie (John) of Nathalie, VA and Linda M. King; and his grandchildren, Brian Saunders of Charlotte, NC and Layla Carson of Roxboro, NC. He is also survived by his family and friends.
