He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Jackson Johnson; his parents, Cosey Lee Draughan and R. B. Draughan; and his former wife Barbara Yvonne Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Beth Johnson and William "Joey" Johnson, III; his stepson James Hartsell; his grandchildren, Brandon J. Link, Michael J. Johnson, Walter T. Johnson, Stacy J. Runion, Brandon W. Johnson, Chelsea N. Powell and John David Powell; his brother Ray Draughan; his great grandchildren, Jacob Runion, Bailey Runion, Peyton Johnson, Ashlynn Link, Lincoln Johnson, Penelope Johnson, Waylon Johnson, Harleigh Johnson and Paislee Powell; and his close friend Rachel Barton. He is also survived by his children and Craig Hartsell and his children.
