With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velora Redd Moore of Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on December 4, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albion C. Redd and Minnie Walker Redd; her husband Willis Randolph Moore; her son Carroll Moore; her grandson Nathan Moore; and her siblings, James Redd, Amos Redd, Herman Redd, Frank Redd, Wray Redd, Frances Hawker, Virginia Strader and Betty Redd.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy M. Cosby (Alvin) of Vernon Hill and Jerry R. Moore, Sr. (Betty) of Halifax Five; her grandchildren, Randy Moore, Dabney Cosby, Mary Beth Cosby, Gary Moore and Willis Moore; her great grandchildren, Brayden Moore, Briley Moore, Dylan Puryear, Brooklyn Skipworth, Logan Cosby, Taylor Moore and Ashley Moore; and her sister Bonnie Snow (Roger) of Halifax.
