He is survived by: his sister Sally Wilson Ragland Crews; his children, Samuel Baxter Wilson, III (Lisa) and Kathy Wilson Porterfield (David); his grandchildren, Samuel Baxter Wilson, IV (Laura), Michael James Wilson, Daniel Thomas Porterfield and Nancy Porterfield Kren (Greg); and his great grandchildren, Logan Bruce Kren and Levi Joseph Kren.
