He was predeceased by: his mother Ellen Davis Brown; his son Richard O. "Ritchie" Brown Jr. (Stephanie) of Halifax; and his granddaughter Hollie Brown. He is survived by: his father Richard Thorton "Doc" Brown; and his wife Linda Brown.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (1603 Wilborn Ave, South Boston, VA 24592). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel (1603 Wilborn Ave, South Boston, VA 24592). A burial was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (2515 N Main St, South Boston, VA 24592).
