He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Bruce Boyd and Lottie Hite Boyd; and his sister Janice Moderelli. He is survived by: his wife Trauti Goletz Boyd; his children, Michelle Boyd Tween (Brian) of East Chester, NY and Michael Boyd of Wake Forest, NC; his granddaughter Maggie Tween; his brothers, Marshall Boyd (Tina) of Kingsland, GA and Horace Boyd (Christine) of New Rochelle, NY; and his former wife Nancy Boyd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.

Due to COVID restrictions, there will be an open visitation and viewing on Thursday, February 11 from 10 AM until 6 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home, 115 Main Street, South Boston.
