He was predeceased by: his parents, Rawley Bryant Nichols and Ruth Newbill Nichols; his wife Hope Jones Nichols; and his sister Hazel Granger. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Nichols Franklin (Jody) of South Boston, One; his grandson Andrew Sweeney of Halifax Three; his brothers, Green Nichols (Lucy) of Midlothian, Joe Nichols (Marylin) of Halifax and Dan Nichols (Rachel) of Winston-Salem, NC; and his brother-in-law Craddock Granger (Host) of Woodbridge, VA. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
