With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Ann Pleasant McDowell of Halifax, Virginia, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2023 at the age of 57. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lee Pleasant and Janice Marie Albert Pleasant; and her brother Mark Anthony Pleasant. She is survived by: her pet Ru Ru; her husband Ronnie McDowell; her daughters, Ashley Nicole Pulliam of Halifax and Laura Lewis (James) of Keeling; her stepdaughter Tausha Lowery (Monty) of Virgilina, VA; her sister Phyllis P. Reaves of Woodsdale; her grandchildren, Alex Lowery, Makaylee Roach, Makayla Roach, MaKenzie Roach, Katelyn Roach, Janson Lewis and Waylon Lewis; her nephew Jason Pulliam; and her niece Christie Lloyd. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
