He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hammock and Marie Tuck Hammock; and his brothers, Otey Hammock and John Wayne Hammock. He is survived by: his grandson Cody; his daughter Tracey; his grandchild Tracey Rumer; his great grandchild Cody; his granddaughter Carolyn Jones (Warren); his great grandchild Courtney; and his siblings, Rachel Clay (Frank), Frances St. John, Margaret Morton, Kenneth Hammock and Earl Hammock.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the Halifax County Cancer Association be considered.
