He was predeceased by: his parents, Ocie Calvin Clay Sr. and Lula Walker Clay; his wife Mary Frances Clay; his daughters, Connie Jackson and Donna Clay; and his siblings, Robert Clay, Glenn Clay, Jesse Clay, Ruby Clay, Rossa Wells and Patsy Lone.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Lewis (Roger) of Nathalie, VA, Brenda Chappell (Ronnie) of Red Oak, VA, Linda Waller (Timmy) of Phoenix, VA, Teresia Tate (Mike) and Twenty; and his sisters, Debra Clay of Keysville, VA and Dorothy Clay (Charlene Bennett) of South Boston, VA. He is also survived by Twenty-Five Grandchildren Eight Great Grandchildren.
