She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Frank" McGlenn Puryear Sr. and Elizabeth Walker Puryear; and her spouse Dabney Alvin Cosby, Sr.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jackson Zimmermann (Rowena) of Charlottesville, VA, Dabney Cosby of Vernon Hill, Ann Dellacona (Matt) of Rocky Gap, VA and Mary Beth Cosby (Frankie).
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (2154 Asbury Church Rd, Vernon Hill, VA 24597). A reception was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM.
