He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Luther Redd and Daliah McGregor Redd; his children, William Carlton "Billy" Redd Sr. (Andrea) of Clarksville, Janice Monroe Redd (John Shelton) of HalifaxGrandchildren and Luke Grayson Redd of High Point, NC; and his siblings, Lorene Beard of South Boston, Esther Reaves (Jerry), SiblingsEvelyn Saunders, Leslie Redd and Sam Redd.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (1603 Wilborn Ave, South Boston, VA 24592). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery (13914 Halifax Rd, Java, VA 24565).
