He is survived by: his wife Wanda Johnson; his children, Timothy Johnson (Constance) of Gladys, Anthony Johnson (Melissa) of Gladys and Jennifer Rowland (Steve) of Leasburg, NC; his grandchildren, Marquel Johnson, Trelanne Johnson, Keyshawn Johnson, Kyntara Mase, Tamika Witcher, Alexis Palmer, Akezie Johnson, James Earp, Malaysia Daye, Xavier Daye, Mo-Nasia Johnson, Samareya Thompson and Destiney Sarver; his siblings, Florence Johnson of Forest, Walter Johnson (Roberta) of Brookneal, Van Johnson of Rustburg and Harry Johnson (Annie) of Nathalie; his mother-in-law Alma Terry of Halifax; his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Huss (Billy) of Scottsburg, John Terry of South Carolina and Pete Terry of Mississippi; and his friends, Wayne Dabbs, Preston Elam and Tommy Rowland.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 Lusardi Dr, Brookneal, VA 24528). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery (4198 Bethel Rd, Scottsburg, VA 24589).
