It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Coleman of Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Coleman and Marion Traynaham Coleman; her son Raymond Coleman; and her siblings, Marion Garrett, George Coleman, Ronald Coleman and Joseph Coleman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Grace Epps of New Haven and Curtis Wilborne of Hamden; her goddaughter Laura Brown of New Haven; her grandchildren, Tynessia Coleman of Tacoma, Laura Coleman of Hamden, CT, Ashley Jackson of Chicago, Joseph Lee of San Diego, Nicole Osagie (Rene) of Lebanon, CT, Karalyn Duncan (Chris) of New Haven, CT, Colorei Moody, Brandon McClanahan, Brittany Coleman, Beverly Coleman, Courtney Coleman of Tacoma, Candice King of Florida, Daniel King of New York, Kiara Brown, Mary Brown, Makayla Brown and Marquis McFadden of New Haven, CT.; and her great grandchildren, Treveon Belcher, LaNasia Satcher, Tamaya Satcher of Tacoma, Washington, Junior Osagie, Noah Osagie, Isiah Osagie of Lebanon, CT, Madison King and Chloe King of Florida.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Faith Church (104 Fairmont Ave, New Haven, CT 06513). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
