He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Lawman Payne and Phyllis Mawyer Payne; and his brother Glen Payne. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Smith Payne; his children, Derrick Payne (Joy) of Williamsburg, VA, Darrell Payne of Williamsburg, VA and Angela Payne; and his brothers, Michael Payne (Linda) of Fluvanna, VA and Gary Payne (Kaye) of Chambersburg, PA. He is also survived by Six Grandchildren Three Great Grandchildren.
