She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Boyd-Reid (William), Mary Boyd-Jones (Lester), Deborah Boyd Forest (Russell), Barbara Jean Majors (late Kilbert), Eileen Teresa Dennie (Allan) and Gayle Sydnor (Wayne). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; fifteen great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 Lusardi Dr, Brookneal, VA 24528). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Shiloh Baptist Church (1145 Shiloh Church Rd, Nathalie, VA 24577). A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the New Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery (1145 Shiloh Church Rd, Nathalie, VA 24577).
