She was predeceased by: her parents, Buddy Elliott and Malissa Elliott of Halifax County; her husband Richard T. Moore; and her son Roger S. Moore of Newport News. She is survived by: her son Russell W. Moore of McLean; her siblings-in-law, Charles Moore of Emporia, Nancy T. Moore of Forest, Ann D. Moore of Kenbridge and Lucille Moore of Broadnax; and her siblings, Harry Byrd Elliott, Lucille E. Tuck, Ralph Caesar Elliott, James Patrick and Brigs Otha Elliott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a gift to honor her memory might be made to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Association of America, or to the Vandola Baptist Church of Danville, Va.
