It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maryus Littleton Dodson of Hague, Virginia, who passed away on September 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Yates Dodson and Bessie Dodson; and his brothers, J. W. Dodson and Grayson Dodson. He is survived by: his wife Deloris George Dodson; his children, Michael E. Dodson and Sandra D. Longest (George); his grandchildren, Brittany Dodson Gawen (Donald), Woody Johnson, Jr. (Kelley), Chris Longest (Tiffany) and Jason Longest; his great grandchildren, Camden, Caroline, Thomas Gawen, Mason, Owen Johnson, Millie, Lillie and Toby Longest; his pet Princess; his friend Ed Cockrell; and his caregivers, Kim Jenkins, Janice Cox and Tamara Gray.
