It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgie Roberts Mullins (Grundy, Virginia), who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hannibal Roberts and Susie Roberts (Kennedy); her husband Lawson Mullins; her son Thurman Mullins; her nephew Oliver Baker; and her sisters, Gladys Cole, Daisy Baker, Goldie Stacy and Edith Kennedy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Mullins, Sandy Cole Shull (Dan) and Judy Baker Vance (Freddy); her nieces, Reva Cole Hagerman (Philip), Alice Jones, Sheila Cole Metz and Emily; her cousins, Virgie Mullins (Cletus) and Carl Reed; her close friend Sylvia Vogel; her pet Maggie; her granddaughter Susan EJ (Ann); and her children, Riley, Arianna, Lilah, Eric Estep (Angie), Hunter, Wyatt, Noah, Colton and Jennifer Dawson.
