He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Viers and Lilly Maxie Viers; his wife Juanita Jean Viers (Goff); and his siblings, Henry Viers and Annalee Viers.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Anderson (Raymond) of Midland, VA; his granddaughter Kimberly Dykes of Grundy, VA; his great grandchild Brantley Colton Dykes; and his brother Ron Keith Viers (Sue) of Prater, VA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
