He is survived by: his wife Cathy Young; his daughter Linzee Kerns (Josh) of Abingdon; his brother Stanley Duty (Sandy) of Cedar Bluff, VA; his siblings-in-law, Brady Bostic, Lynn Sykes of Grundy, Steve Young of Grundy, VA, Larry Young of Vansant, VA, Jean Duty of Lawrenceburg, TN and Marie Mullins of Grundy, VA; and his nieces and nephews, Kermit Duty, Jr., Darell Wise, Duane Church, Richard Lee, Mike Sykes, Troy Brown, Mike Getz, Cheyenne Osborne, Stanley "Bub" Duty, Jr., Scott Bostic, Robert Bostic, Connie Wise, Linda Duty, Susan Church, Karen Sykes Brown, Teresa Sykes, Christina Getz, Heather Osborne, Leanne Duty, Machele Bostic and Tracy Bostic.
