He was predeceased by: his parents, Paris Woosley and Ida Mae Justus Woosley; his wife Reba Adine Rowe Woosley; and his siblings, Ronda Jane Carden, Rachel Christian and Hufford Woosley.
He is survived by: his family Slate Creek; his children, Laura Gracie Mae Denton (Lonnie) of Piedmont, OH, Jennifer Pennington of Chilhowie, VA, Tabitha Hawthorne (Travis) of Grundy, VA and Stuart "Pete" Woosley II (Sherry) of Talbott, TN; his siblings, Betty Horton of Patrick Springs, VA, Sarah Tolzman, Barbara Ellen Babbs of Columbia, TN and Paris Junior Woosley of Calhoun, KY.; his grandchildren, Allexxis Hall, Stephanie Hagerman, Joshua Matney, Jonathan Matney, Ethan Woosley, Wyatt Woosley and Dane Denton; and his great grandchildren, Trinity Rayne Hawthorne, Quentin Hatmaker, Zander Hatmaker, Spencer Matney, Elias Hall, Journee Hall and Gage Hutton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
In observance of COVID-19, the family requests social distancing be observed, and the wearing of masks for attendance.
