He is survived by: his wife Sherri Deel Ratliff; his daughters, Chantay Lester (Red) of Grundy and Kayla Ratliff (Virgil Ellison) of Princeton; his stepson David Smith of Rowe, Virginia; his grandchildren, Little V Ellison and Adrian Ellison; his mother-in-law Alice Deel of Dry Fork, Virginia; his close friend Wanda Ratliff; his pets, Angel, Mercedes and Ranger; and his grandchildren, Scooby Lester, Daphne Lester and Bella Ratliff. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
