She was predeceased by: her parents, Moscoe Mullins and Victoria Mullins (Matney); her husband Donald Dexter; her daughter Lisia Dexter; and her siblings, Agnes Abbott, Dorothy Grusholt, Mildred Mullins, Victor Mullins and Billy Mullins.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Vandyke (Tyrone) of Grundy, VA and Ronnie Dexter (Sheila) of Grundy, VA; her stepchildren, Donna Estevao (Dennis) of Rhode Island, Daniel Dexter of Florida and Ricky Dexter of Rhode Island; and her brothers, Harold Mullins of Grundy, VA and Tolbert Mullins of Abingdon, VA.. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
