He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Sargent Burks of Grundy, VA; his son Travis Burks (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jacob Burks and Natalie Burks of Grundy, VA; and his siblings, Janice Wires (Lee) of Tarpon Springs, FL, Danny Ray Burks (Teresa) of Grundy, VA and Benny Joe Burks (Darlene) of Grundy, VA. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
