He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ratliff and Hulda Jane Woods Ratliff; his wife Dorothy Ratliff; his siblings, Alice, Ocie, Edith, Kermit, Harold, Ralph, Quintin and Earl; his grandson Robert Earl Ratliff; and his daughter-in-law Kimberly Lee Ratliff.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Faye Myers (Joseph) of Williamsport, PA, Edith Louise Steward of Grundy, VA, Stanley Reual Ratliff (Gwen) of Mt. Vernon, OH, Gary Lynn Ratliff (Linda) of Grundy, VA, Randall Thomas Ratliff (Patricia) of Grundy, VA and Timothy Wayne Ratliff of Cedar Bluff, VA.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
