She was predeceased by: her parents, Byrd Blankenship and Mary Lottie Blankenship (Owens); and her siblings, Lloyd Blankenship, Larry Blankenship, Bill Blankenship, Freeman Blankenship and Lois Marshall.
She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Calvin Owens of Grundy, VA; her daughter Mary Angela Charles (Teddy) of Stony Point, NC; her grandson Dylan Charles (Rachel); her daughters, Danica of Stony Point, NC and Dakota Charles (Lux Lily) of Stony Point, NC; and her brothers, Bob Blankenship (Peggy) of Harman, VA and Jerry Blankenship of Maxie, VA.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
