She was predeceased by: her parents, John Deel and Annabelle Deel (Blankenship); her sisters, Linda O'Quinn and Joyce Deel; and her son-in-law Kenneth Bartley.
She is survived by: her daughter Anna Bartley of Oakwood, VA; her granddaughters, Courtney Baker (Michael) of Oakwood, VA and Shanna Stevens (Daniel) of Oakwood, VA; her great grandchild Bryson Stevens; and her sister Carolyn Avenell Cole of Rural Retreat, VA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Grundy Funeral Home (22208 Riverside Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at the Joshua Blankenship Cemetery.
