With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mona Bailey Adkins (Grundy, Virginia), born in Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2019 at the age of 51. She was predeceased by: her parents, Meredith Irene Hall Bailey of Harman, VA and Joseph McDonald "Donald" Bailey; her husband Gary Wayne Adkins; her son John Michael Adkins; her grandson Gabriel Archer Hutchinson; and her father-in-law Donald Adkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Shonna Nicole Hutchinson of Welch, WV; her grandchildren, Amelia Rose Hutchinson, Arianna Rayne Hutchinson and Samuel Dante Hutchinson; her siblings, Joe Bailey of Bluefield, WV and Wanda (Larry); her mother-in-law Mavis Ward Adkins of Grundy, VA; and her siblings-in-law, Donnie Adkins, Tammie Hash (Louis) of Chilhowie, VA and Donna Viers (Barry) of Haysi, VA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
