He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Jean Keen of Claypool Hill, VA and Buford Keen; his son Christopher Keene; and his sister Robin Comfort. He is survived by: his wife Sally Horn Keene of Grundy, VA; his children, Amber Bucklen (Shaun) of Keen Mountain, VA and Brian Keene of Grundy, VA; his sisters, Karen Ratliff (Sammie) of Wardell, VA and Gail Herring (Tim) of Grundy, VA.; his grandchildren, Cameron Keene, Kylie Keene, Ava Bucklen, Carma Keene and Kane Bucklen; his stepgrandson Ashton Bucklen; and his close friends, Kenny Stacy and Doug Hagerman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
