Price; her husband Roscoe Elswick; her siblings, Rebecca Williams, Marie Marlow, Louise Warren, Junior Smith and James Smith; her son-in-law Larry Garfield Looney; and her stepchildren, Paul Elswick, Hubert Elswick, Roscoe Elswick Jr. and Avon Keene.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dorothy Sloan of Atlanta and Ernestine Looney of Grundy; her stepchildren, Glenda Hughes (Darrell) of Kingsport, TN, Jean Taylor of Pikeville, KY and Danny Elswick (Darlene) of Big Rock; and her grandchildren, Summar Eller, Aaron Looney, Samantha Ratliff, Todd Elswick, Mark Elswick, Bill Elswick, Melissa Davis (Elswick), Nancy Sims, Maranda Aherne (Elswick), Tammy Potter, Pamela Harrison, Michelle Roark, Nikki McCowan, Leigh Bedsole, William Bedsole, Hugh Elswick, Tina Clevinger, Diane (Elswick), Willie Elswick and Kim Ray. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home (1021 Six And Twenty Mile Br Rd, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
