He is survived by: his parents, Clyde Owens and Flornia Compton Owens of Vansant, VA.; his brothers, Ernie Owens and Bryant Owens; his wife Anita McClanahan Owens of Grundy, VA; and his daughters, Kristy McCowan (Josh) of Blacksburg, VA and Kaitlyn Grimes (Brandon) of Wise, VA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, friends.
