She was predeceased by: her parents, Finis Yates and Verti Yates (Stiltner); and her son Terry Michael Fife. She is survived by: her husband Lon Fife of Maxie, VA; her son Jeffrey Fife of Cocoa Beach, FL; and her grandchildren, Michael Fife, Rajni Fife, Daniel Fife, Aaron Fife, Dalton Fife, Kali Coy, Katelyn Fife and Zoe Fife. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Grundy Funeral Home (22208 Riverside Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Mountain Valley Memorial Park (32350 Riverside Dr, Big Rock, VA 24603).
